We have officially entered winter here at camp. It is raining hard and snow is not far behind. What matters most to me though, is my daughter, Sutter, is home from UC Davis for Winter Break. Just having her lounging in the house, makes me feel complete and satisfied.

We have had a big fall at Coppercreek. We had our second reunion in September and had so much fun. Next year, the dates are set for August 25th-28th. The weekend is relaxed, full of lots of gab, some activities, a few beverages, and plenty of laughs. Slowly, we are finding Coppercreek alumni. The social media is working wonders at digging up past campers and staff. Please consider joining us.

Coppercreek was seen on national TV just last week. We were featured in an episode of "Strange Days with Bob Saget" on A&E Television. You can still view the complete video online. Bob spent 5 days with us during the summer of 2010 and made a "docucomedy" about going to summer camp. What touched me was the scene featuring Zach Lusby, Karly Eichner's son (remember Karly from the 70's and 80's?), talking about why camp is special. I loved having an alumna's child speaking to the nation.

Indian Head is covered in clouds but I know he is still up there snoozing with his blanket pulled over his chest. Happy Holidays!
